The beautiful and austere hills of Loita provide the prefect backdrop to become truly immersed in the Maasai culture. Remote and far from the noise. The roots of the Maasai culture can truly be see and felt felt here, and that is why this location is perfect for meeting with the villages elders. Entasekera is truly home for me and holds a very special place in my heart. On my solo trip back to Kenya after our family safari, I was warmly welcomed by Mamam Edwatd, or Mama Franscica as he is widley know in the cimmunity. I came to stay with her and do some volunteering at a home she currently runs for disabled and runaway Maasai children. I have made a family herre and this is one place I waill always return to and feel very comfortable visiting.
